Kansas junior Dominic Voegele struck out fifteen batters as Kansas defeated Oklahoma State in baseball action on April 18, tying their weekend series at one win each. Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald praised both pitching performance and timely hitting following an earlier loss.
Kansas softball fell to UCF after an extra-inning walk-off home run decided their first series matchup. Despite leading early, Kansas could not stop UCF’s late comeback and lost 6-3. The teams will meet again Saturday.
Inclement weather forced No. 18 Kansas and Oklahoma State to suspend their baseball game Friday night. Play will resume Saturday afternoon with Kansas trailing in Stillwater.
