Community meeting on proposed changes to Land Development Code
In August, Lawrence residents met with City staff and consultants to discuss their ideas for improving the City’s Land Development Code (LDC). Consultants reviewed that feedback and created a Code Assessment that outlines the main focus areas of change from the current LDC.
The City has scheduled a community meeting to review the Code Assessment, which will be the roadmap for the new LDC. At the community meeting, the City wants to know whether the community agrees with the topic areas and whether there is anything missing. Community input will help determine where and how Lawrence grows in the future.
