City of Lawrence invites community input on brand refresh

The City of Lawrence brand refresh is an initiative to help us communicate who we are as a community, where we are today, and where we’re going in the future. Following a methodical community engagement program that began in July, our consultant team from Guide Studio has worked with City staff and a steering committee of Lawrence community members to develop recommendations for the City of Lawrence brand identity.

As part of the community engagement program, we have developed an online survey to check-in on whether the brand refresh is moving in the right direction and if there are any additional insights the community would like to provide. We encourage everyone in the community to share their feedback. The survey is available here.

The survey should take about five minutes to complete and will be open through November 18, 2022.

The objective of the brand development is to cultivate a consistent and professional identity and message that accurately represents our vibrant and unique community. Through this effort, the City intends to improve on our communication and engagement with residents, strengthen community collaboration and pride, and position ourselves to compete for new economic development opportunities.

More information and answers to common questions about the brand refresh are available on our website.
