LPRD’s Wedding Dance Crash Course prepares partners for first dance

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will host a workshop this fall for couples to learn and practice the fundamentals of social dances for a memorable wedding reception.

Wedding Dance Crash Course introduces participants to the shared techniques of two or three social dances with a focus on timing and partner connection. This workshop will provide a foundation in general social dancing to make that special day unforgettable. Partner enrollment is required.

This workshop is available for participants 15 years-old and older and will be held 1:15-4:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $25 per person.
