Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering sessions of Ultimate Dance Party for dancers to practice their moves and hone their skills with an instructor-guided dance party.
Ultimate Dance Party gives participants the opportunity to dance the two-step, waltz, East Coast and West Coast swings, salsa and the cha-cha for the evening. Participants can spend the evening dancing to great music while performing their favorite styles of dance.
The two-hour dance workshop is available to participants 15 years-old and older and will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $15 per person. Partner enrollment is required.
An additional session will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9.
