Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering the chance to decorate Downtown Lawrence with original works of art.
Lawrence Parks and Recreation, Downtown Lawrence, Inc. and the Lawrence Breakfast Optimists Club are hosting the 49th annual Halloween Paint-In 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 29, in Downtown Lawrence. The event is free and open to all ages. Participants must submit a sketch of their design by email prior to painting day. Participants must register by Monday, Oct. 24, to participate.
