Mrs. Megan Stahl grew up in Basehor, KS and attended Basehor-Linwood High School. After graduating she earned her Undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and then received a Masters through Baker University.
Megan and her husband Zach have two sons Henry (6) who will be in 1st grade at Lecompton next year and Leo (4). They recently moved to our district as they were craving a small town experience for their children. They were both raised in small towns and knew they wanted that same feeling of community and connection for their children.
Mrs. Stahl loves to read and spend time outside. She enjoys plants, animals, and word games. In fact she loves watching Wheel of Fortune so much she wants be on the show as a guest! On the weekends she is often cheering for the Royals and the Chiefs during their seasons.
Megan is in her 12th year of teaching. She started in Topeka and taught there for three years in both 3rd and 4th grade. Then moved to Lawrence and taught at Hillcrest Elementary for 8 years in 5th grade. She has always loved being in a school building. She enjoys socializing and building relationships and had many amazing teachers growing up who inspired and pushed her to be more. She hopes to inspire kids just like she was inspired to reach their full potential.
Please welcome Mrs. Megan Stahl and the entire Stahl family to Perry-Lecompton!
