68 percent of applicants to Haskell Indian Nations University were admitted for fall 2018

At Haskell Indian Nations University, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Lawrence enrolled 733 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

22 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 78 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native (100 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 287 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 85 percent enrolled.
