E15 gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.02 per gallon at one gas station in Douglas County during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, E15 gas averaged $3.06 per gallon.
Among 37 gas stations in cities within Douglas County, five offered E15 gas.
Across Kansas, the average reported price for a gallon of E15 gas rose to $3.09, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
